Cakes at the Lake: Raptors of the Great Lakes Region

Cakes at the Lake is an all-you-care-to-eat breakfast which features buttermilk and specialty pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, and beverages. Following the breakfast, guests are encouraged to stay for the free nature program sponsored by Long Lake Preservation Association. Program Fee: $8/person; $5/child (ages 4-12 years old); Free for children ages 3 & under

Note: 2023 Raffle Drawing will take place before the nature presentation.

Raptors of the Great Lakes Region with Chris Cold

Listen to Chris Cold share about the raptors of the Great Lakes Region. He will dive into identification of hawks, owls, osprey and eagles, and will explain the behavioral habits, habitats and particular roles (niches) of raptors.

Chris Cold is a retired wildlife technician and educator for the WI DNR. He is also a licensed falconer and former bird bander. He will be bringing live birds to this program!
