About the Jack-O-Lantern Festival
This year's Jack-O-Lantern Festival will be a spooktacularly good time for all ages, and the fun is FREE! Kick off the weekend Friday with the adult Glow & Go Bar Crawl and food trucks. Then come back Saturday for the Great Pumpkin Roll, Pumpkin Carving Contest, Fall Flavors Contest, food trucks, and a Kids Zone put on by Lakeland Family Resource Center and the Spooner Library with bounce houses, pumpkin painting, yard games, balloon animals, an obstacle course, mini golf, and more!
Local businesses can get in on the fun too with our Scarecrow Contest happening throughout Spooner!

Glow & Go Bar Crawl
Kick off Jack-O-Lantern Fest with the Glow & Go Bar Crawl on Friday, October 9th! Make your way through participating local bars, play a game at each stop, grab a glow bracelet, and collect tickets for your chance to win the Grand Prize.
No purchase or drink is required to participate! Stop in, play the game, collect your ticket, and head to your next Glow & Go stop. The more stops you make, the more chances you have to win!

Food Truck Vendor
We’re looking for food trucks and food vendors to be part of the 2026 Jack-O-Lantern Festival in downtown Spooner! Vendors are welcome to participate Friday, Saturday, or both days.
Friday, October 9 | 3:00–10:00 PM
Friday evening will feature the Adult Glow & Go Bar Crawl, bringing adults and visitors throughout the community.
Saturday, October 10 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Saturday is all about family fun, with activities happening throughout the day, including the Kids Zone, Great Pumpkin Roll, contests, and more!

Scarecrow Contest
Get creative and help bring some fall fun to downtown Spooner! Local businesses are invited to build a scarecrow that represents their business and display it beginning Monday, October 5.
Community members can vote for their favorites throughout the week, and Kids’ Choice and People’s Choice winners will be announced Saturday, October 10, at 1:00 PM during the Jack-O-Lantern Festival at the public parking lot on Walnut.
Entry is $10 per scarecrow. Businesses can also choose to donate their scarecrow to be part of Saturday’s Pumpkin Roll.
