Bat Roost Count

Participate in a Citizen Science project at Hunt Hill! Citizen Science empowers the curious and concerned to collect valuable data that contributes to specific scientific research. No prior experience is needed to participate.

Program Fee: Free, but donations are appreciated
Location: 
Richard Grand Recreation Hall, Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary
Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 20 people

The baby bats have taken to the air! Join Hunt Hill in completing a second roost count after the babies have emerged to help get an idea of the bat’s population change over the summer. Participants need not have participated in the previous count to attend.

  • Call 715-635-6543 & pay via credit card over the phone (Mon-Fri, 9:00am-4:00pm).
  • Visit our office. Note: Check and cash are also accepted when registering in-person.
