SPOONER PARKS
Spooner is a small town with a big love for recreational activities no matter what time of year it is! Stop at one of our many fun parks you have to see when staying in Spooner.
WILD RIVERS STATE TRAIL
The Wild Rivers State Trail is a 96-mile-long multi-use recreational trail traversing Washburn, Barron and Douglass Counties that follows an abandoned railbed first established by the Omaha and Soo Line railroad companies in the 1800s. Today its cinder and gravel base offers opportunities for a variety of activities, but it has become particularly popular among ATV/UTV and snowmobile riders.

STATE FISH HATCHERY
It's time to lace up those hiking boots and check out one of the many spectacular hiking trails in the area offering up a plethora of opportunities to view wildlife in their virtually untouched natural habitat!
FAIRY SHOPS OF SPOONER
Spooner is an old railroad town where fairy merchants continue their thriving nighttime business serving local and visiting fairies. Each shop provides goods and services that are similar to the larger establishments in which they are located. There are fun cafes, bookstores and art shops to keep fairies coming back to Spooner again and again!
TIN CEILING TOUR
After a fire in the summer of 1905 Spooner was rebuilt and many area businesses chose to go with tin ceilings that were very popular at the time. Over 15 Spooner Businesses still feature these beautiful tin ceilings and are proud to show them off on the Tin Ceiling Tour.
Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary
Just east of Spooner, in the Stone Lake Area, lies a beautiful horse trail system featuring two 15 mile loops offering incredible views throughout the gently rolling hardwood ridges.
