Love Light Ceremony
December 2 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join the Volunteers of Spooner Health as they hold their 34th annual Love Light Tree Ceremony on Monday, December 2 at 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at Spooner Health and streamed live on Facebook (@SpoonerHealth). For those attending in person, there will be a silent auction and refreshments after the event. This event is organized by Betsy Andrea of the Volunteers of Spooner Health and will feature an inspirational message from a community member. Mike Schafer, Spooner Health CEO, will welcome everyone and read the names of all those for whom lights were purchased. All proceeds go towards the 2025 Volunteers of Spooner Health Scholarship Fund for local students interested in pursuing a degree in healthcare.
Community members can make a minimum donation of $5 and “purchase” a red, blue or white light. A red light is in honor of someone, a blue light is for peace or for someone who has or is currently serving our country and a white light is in memory of someone. Previous years have seen over 120 lights placed on the tree to honor and remember loved ones. For more information, visit: https://spoonerhealth.com/event/love-light/
