Arts In Hand Gallery Student Art Reception
May 18 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
FreeEvery year, the Wisconsin Northwest Heritage Passage hosts student art exhibitions and public receptions at the Arts In Hand Gallery. This program aims to provide young artists with the opportunity to showcase their work in a gallery setting. Not only does it align with WNHP’s mission, but it also introduces visitors to the gallery who may not have been aware of our presence. Our inaugural student exhibit will feature three talented seniors from Spooner High School. Their reception is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and their artwork will be on display for the two weeks leading up to the reception.
Now, let’s meet our featured student artists:
Tabitha Johnson: Tabitha has explored various artistic mediums, but her favorites are watercolor and clay. She delights in transforming a shapeless blob into something beautiful. Her exhibit will showcase five pieces.
Piper Norris: Piper’s chosen medium for painting is oil. Inspired by nature and animals during her walks, which is why her favorite color is green. Piper will present three captivating artworks.
Toni Mattie: Toni’s artistic focus lies in mountain landscapes. She believes that mountains symbolize life’s highs and lows. Prepare to be moved by her unique perspective.
Be sure to stop into Arts In Hand Gallery on Saturday, May 18th from 3p-5p to meet these aspiring artists and view their beautiful work!
