About the Event
We hope to see you this year for our annual food and wine tasting benefit hosted by the Spooner Area Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy delicious food from local restaurants and food vendors, tasting of wines and beer, a raffle, silent auction, live music, and so much more!
2025 about the beneficiary
Winged Freedom Raptor Hospital of Spooner, WI provides medical and surgical care to injured birds of prey in northwestern Wisconsin. Serving 12 counties, this 100% volunteer organization has established a modern veterinary hospital and rescue service for eagles, owls and hawks. Each year, over 200 injured birds are admitted with broken bones, lead poisoning, illnesses and starvation. Winged Freedom's staff veterinarian volunteers their services and skills to save as many of these birds as possible, then oversees their reconditioning in preparation for release. This organization is a registered 501c3 nonprofit, and is entirely funded by donations.
