About the Event
We hope to see you this year for our annual food and wine tasting benefit hosted by the Spooner Area Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy delicious food from local restaurants and food vendors, tasting of wines and beer, a raffle, silent auction, live music, and so much more!
2026 about the beneficiary
The Washburn County Area Humane Society (WCAHS) cares for the lost, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats in our community.
WCAHS is a safe haven for these animals who have nowhere else to turn. Many arrive frightened and broken - hungry, dirty, unvaccinated and in some cases, have never known consistent care or kindness.
From the moment they walk through the doors, WCAHS becomes their second chance, providing everything they need to heal and begin again: veterinary care, nourishing food, and a clean loving environment where they can finally feel safe. Before leaving for their forever home, every animal is spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped - healthy, protected, and ready to start a new chapter filled with love.
