Concerts and events can happen just about anywhere — at businesses\, neighborhoods\, churches\, organizations\, schools\, libraries — and especially on streets\, sidewalks\, and parks across our towns. \nLaunched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique\, Make Music is celebrated on the same day every year in more than 1\,000 cities in dozens of countries around the world. Make Music Day is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old\, amateur and professional\, of every musical persuasion — participates to share their music with friends\, neighbors\, and strangers.
