DESCRIPTION:We hope to see you this year for our annual Food & Wine Tasting benefiting the Spooner Police Foundation on Thurs.\, April 25\, 2024 at The Burch Barn! Enjoy food from local restaurants\, tasting of wines and beer\, live music\, raffles\, silent auctions\, and games.\n\nAbout the 2024 Beneficiary:\nThe Spooner Police Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) that was formed on August 1\, 2016 to provide support to the Spooner Police Department and further grow the bond between the Spooner Police Department and the Spooner community.\nThe Foundation solely funds the K-9 Program in the city of Spooner through generous community donations and contributions and supplements the limited city budget by providing extra training/certifications and tactical gear when needed by city of Spooner officers to ensure their safety.\nAll monies raised will stay in the Spooner community to not only continue to fund the K-9 Unit but to continue their community outreach activities such as the Right Track Program\, Family Fun Fest\, National Night Out\, Scholarship Program and several other community and youth initiatives.
