DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, September 9 from 2-5pm Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary\, in Sarona\, will be hosting the second annual Pints on the Prairie event. The event will spotlight a handful of local breweries in a beautiful outdoor setting. Each participant will receive an insulated tumbler\, pretzel necklace\, lunch\, beer and live music. There are also options for non drinkers and wine drinkers this year. Following the breakfast\, guests are encouraged to stay for the free nature program sponsored by Long Lake Preservation Association. To learn more about our Cakes at the Lake series or to see what other topics we have planned for our Cakes at the Lake programs\, click here. \nBreakfast: 8:00 am – 9:45 am; Program: 10:00 am – 11:00 am\nProgram Fee: $8/person; $5/child (ages 4-12 years old); Free for children ages 3 & under\nLocation: Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary\nRegistration is not required.\nNote: 2023 Raffle Drawing will take place before the nature presentation. \nRaptors of the Great Lakes Region with Chris Cold \nListen to Chris Cold share about the raptors of the Great Lakes Region. He will dive into identification of hawks\, owls\, osprey and eagles\, and will explain the behavioral habits\, habitats and particular roles (niches) of raptors. \nChris Cold is a retired wildlife technician and educator for the WI DNR. He is also a licensed falconer and former bird bander. He will be bringing live birds to this program!
