LeAnne Hardy Author Visit

Author LeAnne Hardy will be speaking at the library. She writes inspirational fiction for adults and young adults, known for her historical fiction Glastonbury Grail series.

 

Hardy is educated in philosophy and library and information science. Her books are set in a variety of countries, as she has lived on 4 continents. She was a missionary school librarian during a politically turbulent time in Ethiopia. She set up a theological library in Brazil. In Mozambique, during a civil war she worked at a theological library. In South Africa, she worked as a consultant to a theological library and began to dedicate more time to writing. She continued to work in the library science field and wrote books for children in England, then the U.S. before going back to South Africa focusing on writing for kids with HIV and AIDS. She is now retired and resides in northwest Wisconsin.
