History Harvest

You are invited to our first-ever History Harvest! A history harvest is an event to celebrate, preserve, and share our communities’ stories. We are all history in the making! We hope that this event will help to bring our community together to reflect on our shared histories and envision a brighter future.
Participating is as easy as 1….2…3.
Step 1: Bring an item matching one of these themes:
Military Memorabilia
Railroad Memorabilia
Family Heirlooms or Photos
Step 2: We take a photo of your item and record while you share your story about the item.
Step 3: You engage with other people’s stories in person and online (once recordings are live).
This event is hosted by Spooner Memorial Library and Wisconsin Humanities’ Community Powered Project. To learn more about the Spooner Community Powered Project, visit the “Community Powered” tab on the Spooner Library Website or contact Emily, emily.riewestahl@wisconsinhumanities.org.
